The Storm Inside

Join us on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 5:30 - 7:30 for the release of The Storm Inside: Poetry and Prose by Orange County High School Students. This collection is being published by the Lamar University Literary Press and is the result of a partnership between The Center for History and Culture and Ancient to the Future. The project serves as a continuation of Ancient to the Future’s earlier Another Way anthology, in which students from Jefferson County published their own work on extreme weather and inequality through LULP.

The event will be held at the Williams Building of the Heritage House Museum, located at 905 W. Division in Orange, Texas. Students will be there to read their work.
